Being single and in PR full-time has its social advantages, all of your wonderful friends want to take you out to meet people! I had a delightful invite by a dear friend and her date to happily be the third wheel at the most extravagant holiday party I've ever been at the Hyatt Bellevue in Philadelphia. The host of this event was the very impressive law firm, Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP, not only was the food and atmosphere beyond impressive but so were the guests. I found myself making new friends and excited for future crossing paths. As I prepared for the evening, naturally, I tried on several outfits (having no time to shop) and decided to attend safely in my black silk cocktail dress, ordinary and elegant all in one. Unsatisfied with the ordinary aspect of my safe selection, I decided to spruce it up with a prototype necklace I designed years ago that I rediscovered in the bottom of my jewelry chest while racing out the door. I have to say, not only did it sparkle and totally shift the dynamic of what I was wearing, but it truly was a conversation piece. As the evening concluded, I received numbers from new found friends and inquiries on how to get a necklace like mine...the wheels are turning and I am officially working on it in between crafting this blog post, I couldn't feel more lucky - Enjoy the quick cell snaps - just click on the 1st photo below :-)!
