Just in time for Halloween (10/27, 7-9pm), The Lambertville Hall is proud to offer a hauntingly artful BYOB evening through a hands-on painting exploration of 20th century painter Edvard Munch, featuring his iconic painting “The Scream”. All art abilities are encouraged to enjoy this evening as this specially selected expressionistic piece of art has an ideally, manageable autumn color palette, while presenting a loosely detailed style that students will enjoy to work with, enhancing their personal artistic skills. As the evening concludes, participants take home their own unique Halloween-inspired display that will serve as conversation piece for their home, years to come!

Being additionally a BYOB experience, participants are welcome to bring Halloween-themed treats to share with fellow classmates, exchanging tasteful delights and tales, to further celebrate the spooky spirit of the season.
The instructor, Mandee Kuenzle will guide participants how to create their own rendition of the Scream, improving personal techniques and becoming more comfortable in creating their personal painting style.
Intermittent throughout the night, there will be brief readings about the artist Edvard Munch, class critiques about his style and meaning behind the piece, along with light trivia on other iconic artists from the period.
Fee & material specifics: $45.00. Includes a 16x20 take home canvas, use of easels, various brushes and other related supplies for the evening. Students should wear comfortable attire that can handle water-based paint. About the instructor:
As seen in the James A. Michener Museum and throughout national media, professional photographer and publicist Mandee Kuenzle is known for capturing some of the most dramatic imagery related to the 2012 rescue and rebirth of the Bucks County Playhouse through current day. Without hesitation, Mandee is the first to testify that thinking visually and finding the artist within through any medium is a gift that we all can discover and further bond by, all inspiring our daily experiences personally and professionally.
Using her eye for composition, color and light, Mandee will creatively guide you as you discover and explore your own personal style and artistic techniques.
Mandee Kuenzle holds her BFA in Visual Communications and Master of Arts from La Salle University.
