Music seems to follow us - whether we're being called in behind the scenes to help secretly launch the next hip music venue, being hired to execute an engaging and intimate, performing artist salon series, music seems to work its way into our PR & marketing world happily, one way or another!
So… the latest introduction/intersection was with local community radio station, WDVR 89.7 FM – the station was referred to MKH by a former (& obviously happy) Princeton client – where we had to jump in and help with some needed ID branding for an upcoming festival!
Here’s what we came up with (above), ultimately giving the station a freshened-up look! The goal was to of course keep the brand identifiable, yet simply state (visually & through content) they’re community cool!
Above - a colorful rough-concept draft sample submitted - we always like to exercise creatively, executing the opposite what we think the client will approve - the advantage of this process (somewhat selfishly) is opening up our creativity, while getting to know the client's taste extremes - all beneficial as we work towards the end result - Mandee K.
