New Hope Arts Takes Iconic Center to the Next Level with Elevator Installation and New, Expansive Programming, Including Live Music, Theatrics & Poetry
NEW HOPE, PA (1/18/22) - New Hope Arts (NHA), located in the heart of the historically-artistic, riverside community of New Hope, enters 2022 with much to celebrate, including their past two decades of arts & cultural success, featuring over 8,500 works by visual artists through over 150 exhibitions. Kicking off this remarkable 20thanniversary year, NHA will further celebrate through new, expansive programming of collaborative performance art, including live music, theatrical presentations, and poetry, all to complement their existing array of annual programming. Additionally, New Hope Arts looks forward to taking the iconic center to the "next level" with their much-anticipated installation of an elevator, made possible by a Community and Economic Development grant from the State of Pennsylvania. This new addition will enable the non-profit arts organization to improve ease of facility access in its ongoing effort to serve the arts community.
Executive Director of NHA Carol Cruickshanks states: "Realizing our twentieth anniversary is truly something to be proud of, starting with how founder Robin Larsen conceived NHA in 2002, as she knew an extraordinary place needed to be born. She took on the great responsibility of offering a dynamic exhibition, gathering and programming space for the deeply artistic voice this community holds and attracts. Robin understood the importance, reinstating New Hope as a top national arts destination. We're delighted to say how proud we are as an arts organization to have realized this vision through the vibrant array of the major exhibitions we offer here at NHA, ranging from sculpture, wood, painting, photography, fine artisan crafts, and new media installations. We've featured over 8,500 artworks by visual artists throughout the community and nation and always encourage emerging artists to get involved, to expand their exposure and professional growth."
