SINGER, SONGWRITER, MUSICIAN WADE LYNCH Shares NEW RELEASE - "You've Come Along"
Once native New Jersey singer, songwriter, and musician Wade Lynch, updates Mandee on his exciting move back to France and his latest thrill of releasing "You've Come Along" - a single recorded in Sonic Boom Studios and Nantes, France. Wade plans to routinely visit his home in New Jersey and continue performing in the US and Europe. Regarding his latest release, in the artist's own words, "You've Come Along way tackles the subjects of relationship breakdowns, telling the story of an attempt to repair the past to no avail. Instead, the same old behaviors raise their heads and lead to a repeat of past disasters. In addition, self-interests masquerade as generosity, and though the perpetrator has come along, they got it all wrong… again.
You've Come Along was co-written with Jacques Belghit, and recorded in the US at Anthony Krizan's studio (former guitarist of the Spin Doctors). Anthony also added his own bit on the guitar and backup vocals. The complete list of collaborators on this exciting release includes:
Wade Lynch – guitar, vocals
Jacques Belghit – guitars
Anthony Krizan – guitar, backing vocals, recording & mixing engineer
Matthew Gordon – pedal steel guitar
Dale Rock – drums, percussion
James Jones – bass

Trenton's ANEW ARTIST ALLIANCE Exhibits a POP-UP Show at AOY ART CENTER
ANEW ARTIST ALLIANCE COMING TO
AOY ART CENTER
AOY is proud and excited to present a pop-up show featuring the vibrant and colorful works of the "ANEW Artist Alliance" for two weekends this March. ANEW Artist Alliance is a group of 18 energetic artists who also just happen to be current or former patrons of the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK). This connection was made through a Facebook post on Yardley Boro's page by a volunteer with TASK asking for exhibition locations. AOY jumped in and have been working with the group on everything from art selection and pricing to displaying their works in a professional gallery setting.
The public is invited to see the show: March 4-6 or March 18-20 from 12-5pm. AOY gallery volunteers and members of ANEW Artist Alliance will be your hosts. The art will be for sale.
Their unique stories can be found at anewartists.com. One of the artists is Warcheerah Kilima who is originally from Tanzania, and offers these words of wisdom about art:
“Art is like therapy for me. I can express my feelings easily through my art. I will be doing art for the rest of my life because it is still the way I can express all my feelings.A lot of people have mental problems because they don’t have a place to put their anger. If all the people in the world did art, a lot of the problems would be solved because art is amazing!”
Please note that AOY requires all persons visiting the Center to wear face masks.
The Story of ANEW Artist Alliance:
In 2001, five self-taught visual artists who used the services of the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) and had participated for several years in the Extra Helpings art program at TASK, met with Extra Helpings volunteer Susan Darley to discuss the possibility of forming an artist cooperative. The nascent idea was to offer all TASK patrons, who possessed artistic interests and talents but did not have the personal resources to pursue their creative activities, a collegial environment in which to hone their creative abilities and ultimately sell their artwork and reap the benefits of their efforts. From the outset, the artists made all the decisions about how the A-TEAM was run and what projects it undertook. Membership in the group also provided an opportunity for the artists to learn entrepreneurial skills.

Over the past 20 years this talented group of artists, formerly known as the A-TEAM, have participated in hundreds of shows at diverse venues, including museums, galleries, corporate offices, governmental departments and non-profit organizations.
In the spring of 2021 the A-TEAM Artists of Trenton initiated a new venture of their own, renaming themselves “ANEW Artist Alliance.” The new home studio which they are now running for them self is located in donated display space in Princeton, New Jersey. The artists' goal is to learn all the skills required to establish artistic careers of their own. These skills include: showing and selling their art at their display space, seeking additional venues, framing their artwork and hanging exhibits; meeting with buyers, curators and gallery owners; arranging publicity; and managing finances.
ART YARD'S MCDONNELL THEATER OPENS WITH SUPAMAN ON MARCH 3RD!
Supaman to headline at Art Yard’s McDonnell Theater with Cultural, Hip-Hop Performance on March 3rd
Announcing the opening of ArtYard’s McDonnell Theater
Supaman to headline inaugural month of programming,
including music, film, dance, iconic artists
FRENCHTOWN, NJ— ArtYard is excited to announce its McDonnell Theater will open next month starting with a performance on March 3 by Supaman, an innovative hip hop artist and fancy dancer, kicking off a year filled with music, film, dance, artist talks, theatre, and more events that channel the power of art to unsettle, engage, bridge divides, and spark moments of arresting beauty.
The first two months of programming taking place in the McDonnell Theater also includes Contenders, a film series featuring four superb foreign films, previews by Company SBB // Stefanie Batten Bland of the dance-theatre troupe’s new work Embarqued: Stories of Soil, and an artist talk by Silky Shoemaker, whose Artist Ancestors will help enforce social distancing in the theater during its first months.
The announcement of the McDonnell Theater’s opening comes three years after ArtYard broke ground on its new building at 13 Front Street and 10 months after welcoming the first visitors to its galleries.
“This moment is years in the making and represents the vision and work of so many people who have lent their strengths to the belief that the creative impulse is fundamental to life,” said Jill Kearney, ArtYard’s founder and Executive Director. “With each new idea, limitation, and twist we’ve encountered over these last three years, the McDonnell Theater exceeds what we once thought possible, providing the ultimate theatrical experience for artists, performers, and community members right here in Frenchtown. All of us at ArtYard are excited to share it.”
Named after Stephen McDonnell, ArtYard board member, Applegate Farms founder, and Kearney’s husband, the 162-seat theater McDonnell Theater has state-of-the-art projection, lighting, and surround sound as well as upcycled seating, curtains, and a chandelier made from water bottles by artist Willie Cole. Constructed during the Covid-19 pandemic, the building’s ventilation system was enhanced to improve air quality.
During the first month of programming, random seats in the audience will be occupied by ArtYard’s Artist Ancestors. Created by Shoemaker, Artist Ancestors are life-size plywood portraits of iconic cultural figures whose lives and work span across the arts and embody ArtYard’s ethos. They include American fiber sculptor Judith Scott, Harlem Renaissance artist Beauford Delaney, quilter Rosie Lee Tompkins, and composer Julius Eastman.
“During the downward swing of the pandemic, we are delighted to have these special guests help enforce a bit of social distancing,” Kearney said.
All visitors to ArtYard are required to wear masks and show valid identification and proof that they are vaccinated against Covid-19.
ArtYard is an incubator for creative expression and a catalyst for collaborations that reveal the transformational power of art. As an interdisciplinary alternative contemporary art center comprised of exhibition space, theater, and residency program, ArtYard is dedicated to presenting transformative artwork, fostering unexpected collaborations, and incubating original new work.
Over the last five years, ArtYard has hosted more than 250 events and partnered with dozens of artists and organizations. Three major exhibitions per year anchor offerings in theatre, poetry, dance, music, and film, as well as communal celebrations such as the Hatch, a biennial parade of birds that will return to Frenchtown this June.
“Among the inspirations for ArtYard are Casas de la Cultura, centers for arts and culture throughout Latin America and Europe which bring unlikely people together,” said Elsa Mora, ArtYard’s Creative Director, curator, and a renowned artist. “With the addition of the McDonnell Theater to complement the energy already being generated by the exhibitions in the gallery, we look forward to exploring what can be created and who we can reach through the magnetic force of the arts.”

More About the Exhibition:
Complimentary entry and located in the borough of New Hope, PA, the Creative Continuum Invitational Exhibition specifically celebrates the creative spark that motivates an artist throughout life and features twelve life-long art-makers and their work. Art is a tool for sharing, helping, guiding and revealing unconscious motivation in the hands of teachers who use metaphor, theme and storytelling practices as well as technique and formal elements, contributing to the “creative continuum”. The dozen artists participating in this exhibition find an anchor in art. Recent sculptural works by Guy Ciarcia, have mostly been created during the past 20 months of Covid isolation and are the centerpiece for painting, photography and assemblage works by like-minded artists.

It is individual donors, Board Members and foundations, and community members who provide the support necessary to offer such programs and events.
