Presenting Billboard TOP 100 Adult Contemporary Recording Artist, Doreen Taylor for One Night Only at the Bristol Riverside Theatre to Help Save Highland Farm in Doylestown, PA (Oscar Hammerstein II’s Home and Birthplace for Timeless Rodgers and Hammerstein Classics, Including: Oklahoma!, South Pacific, Carousel, King and I, and Sound of Music.)

Whether your musical palette drives you toward graceful vocals, engaging theatricality or captivating melodies, there’s a strong and powerful fusion of all three in An Enchanted Evening: A Night with Oscar Hammerstein II – a limited engagement, one night only, elegant benefit concert featuring award winning vocalist Doreen Taylor & highlighting Oscar’s life and journey to become one of the most important lyricists of all time. Possessing a rare opportunity to work closely with William Hammerstein (Oscar Hammerstein’s grandson) to obtain private, personal stories, never before seen images and an in-depth glimpse into the life of Oscar Hammerstein, “An Enchanted Evening” is a one-of-a kind, intimate show highlighting Oscar’s life and music.

Also presenting guest artist baritone, Keith Spencer.

Proceeds will be donated to help save Highland Farm in Doylestown, PA and help preserve Oscar Hammerstein II’s legacy.

An invitation from The Raven, welcoming the cultured and creative to experience ground-floor, indie-entertainment from the award-winning & professional playwrights of Princeton’s Witherspoon Circle, showcased in the Raven’s newly refurbished stage setting, the Oak Room. With the goal of offering a collaborative creative environment, this series conceived and co-produced by Mandee K. Hammerstein, strives to provide personal experience and engagement, while encouraging an inviting forum for audience influence over new, theatrical works. Patrons will witness a variety play readings from edgy to outrageous, deranged, dark, delightful and everything in between.

For the first iteration of the series, six shorts from six fantastic authors will be presented as follows:

This monthly reading series (first Sunday of each month Aug. - Dec.) provides award-winning & nationally produced playwrights a secure outlet to confidentially show their work to the smart, theatre-enthused (or the theatre curious), gathering feedback, aiding in the development of their material. The Raven, as an arts-supporting establishment, is proud to present this series to its vast and varied audience.
