The Moms Who Monetize - Backstory & Brief:
Mandee K. Hammerstein, once a perpetual single-mom of three for nearly 20-years, found herself continually working to resolve the mysteries of money to best provide for her dependent kids. In Mandee's daily effort to move forward from her financial past and get hold of her family's financial future, she quickly realized she was not alone in this overwhelming quest. Always appreciating the value of mentorship, education, and networking, Moms Who Monetize (MWM) was born to create an uplifting, fiscally-smart community for women. MWM is first launching through a live, online educational and networking series titled "Ask the Expert" via Zoom. Our inaugural "Ask the Expert" event is on Thursday, June 4th, at 7:30 pm and is free for registrants. During this event, we will be featuring Abacus Wealth's Greg Aloia, JD, CFP, and Kate Barron-Alicante, MsC, CFP. Aloia and Barron-Alicante, as fiduciaries of Abacus Wealth, will be presenting a wide range of personal finance topics. Topics covered include: navigating through your financial plans during emergencies, managing debt while growing a retirement fund, social investing, what to search for in a Certified Financial Planner, and what pro-bono work looks like with a CFP. This special event will conclude in a Q&A format, while serving as a terrific networking time for all. More networking events involving the subjects of real estate, small business development, investing, contracts and more TBA. MWM is an upcoming group that strives to foster financial growth, fitness, and strength in women of all ages and professional backgrounds, come make money fun with us!

Offering monthly a variety of professional resources and mentorship through monthly networking and educational events (online and on location). As the group expands, future retreats and personal & business developmental seminars will evolve, all aiding in taking members to their next level of goals with the comfort of community support.
Why Moms? Do I have to really be one - Nope!
You don’t have to technically be a “mom” to join, we certainly don’t discriminate (men are welcome too)! However, the “voice” of the group one that is in the interest of individuals who have the responsibility of a dependent, meaning a spouse, parent, adult child, pets or…Basically, time management and staying emotionally on track for the sake of yourself and others will be an underlying thread in our community.

To be an "Expert" contributor for our monthly Ask the Expert events, naturally, you should be comfortable with public speaking and sharing your expertise and experiences that would be viewed as beneficial to our audiences. Expert contributors can include a digital presentation and a talk which will conclude in a friendly Q&A format. Most of our members' questions will be shared with you in advance to help prepare your most valuable answers. Additionally, it's best if you are willing to invite potential, new business opportunities amongst our members, our growing following, and evergreen promotions of your MWM contributions.
